"The manager was incredibly attentive, always in a cheerful mood, and gave great recommendations for both meals and drinks. The rest of the staff were just as lovely and attentive, which made the experience even better. The meal portions were huge — we had to take leftovers home! The pork knuckle was flavourful, juicy, and came with great sides, and the pork spare ribs were literally falling off the bone when we tried to pick them up. A shnitty with bosciola sauce was also ordered, big portion and delicious. I also had a mocktail with gelato, which was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was a little quiet, so perhaps some live music or entertainment could be considered, but overall it was an incredible place to celebrate my mum’s birthday last week on 14 Jan (4 of us). We even left a $40 tip in the tip jar because the service and meals were that good! Highly recommend to anyone! It was $240 for four people, meals and drinks included! That's not bad at all for the food quality and service we were provided. Thank you!"

"Great authentic spot! Been here a couple of times and had the food and atmosphere doesn't disappoint. German beer on tap with a long selection to pick from. Great service however on the last visit, seemed understaffed as we waited for service a few times. Other than that, no complaints."

"Friendly greeting from Natalie (waitress) seated promptly, we couldn’t decide on a German beer, so escorted by the Manager Shu to the bar to look at the offerings on tap. A taste of the dark beer was nice, but decided on the Liebenweiss tap. Michael took our order promptly Vienna snitzels, one with the mushy sauce & other with garlic, large food portions, fresh & tasty. Had a rest a bit for the homemade apple strudel which was delicious. Staff are super friendly & observed them providing great service to the 10 other tables. The atmosphere is great lots of German pics & flags & a collection of spoons an avid tourist would envy. Thanks for a great lunch, highly recommend this restaurant, it’s definitely worth the visit."

"Fantastic experience, food was great, service was phenomenal and the decor inside was cozy with memorabilia and little knick knacks filling the walls. Big props to the manager who was very attentive towards us and our small baby. Highly recommend the mushroom sauce dumplings!"

"Decided to eat here last minute and so glad we did. Staff were very accommodating considering they were almost at full capacity and still found a table for us. From the mouth-watering gooey fried Camembert with cranberry sauce through to the top quality trio of chicken, pork and veal snitzel through to the sausage tasting plate and a 'special of the day' potato salad the food impressed and satisfied beyond our expectations. Just wow! Would highly recommend a visit and will definitely return with friends."

"It's always a pleasure to enjoy a good Weissbier, and to also get the best pork knuckle in town is just amazing. The wait staff has always been amazing, friendly and attentive with a big grin to share around. The pork knuckle was cooked just right, crunchy on the outside and juicy in the middle, the gravy is full of flavour, I got some apple sauce and what a combo. Such a good treat, the cocktails were really nice too and the decor makes you feel like you are overseas. Thank you"

Special thank you to the manager who managed to make my full German Grandma and Great Aunt happy which is not always easy! Food was delicious and the serving sizes are massive. Will keep coming back!"
